Light and Elegant Shaker Kitchen with Quartz Worktops

The full refurbishment began with stripping the space back to its bare bones. Once re-plastered, the room was given a new lease of life with soft grey walls and pale wood-effect flooring that gently brightens the entire space. These lighter tones work in harmony with the muted green cabinetry, which introduces a depth of colour and a timeless shaker aesthetic. Quartz worktops were chosen for their seamless look and excellent durability, while the layout was refined to ensure the space flowed naturally from one task to the next. Integrated NEFF appliances, including a built-in oven and microwave, blend effortlessly into the cabinetry, keeping the overall look streamlined.

A peninsula was introduced to provide both a sociable hub and a highly functional work zone, complete with a gas hob and generous drawer storage. Subtle details like brushed brass handles and soft-close mechanisms complete the look, tying together style and practicality. Every element of this design has been carefully curated to feel calm, cohesive and elevated—an ideal setting for both relaxed family cooking and stylish entertaining.
